Michael Starr oversees the day to day running of the estates that the business engages and has a methodical approach to ensure the projects are handled in a professional and ultimately successful manner. In 2005, after finishing a degree in Business Management and Marketing at QUT, Michael began his property career with one of Australia’s largest residential builders in FNQ. Working with owner occupier clients to design and cost their new dream home, Michael had a thirst for understanding how a house was built to more effectively deal with customers. He worked closely with the estimating and on-site teams to gain this vital knowledge. Michael excelled and at a young age was promoted to regional Sales Manager for owner occupiers and also as National investment sales Manager. Moving back to Brisbane to seek a bigger and more diverse market Michael has successfully worked with leading residential builders and developers in the Sales Management and Land Acquisitions space. Getting to know Kevin whilst securing land stock, they fostered a strong and mutually beneficial working relationship which naturally progressed for Michael to join LJ Hooker Land Marketing. Michael’s focus is on servicing the key stakeholder developer, builder and external sales avenue relationships, which make up our extensive existing database and the core of our successful business.
