About Kevin Doodney...
Kevin Doodney is the CEO of L J Hooker Land Marketing and is recognised as one of Australia’s most successful and innovative property specialists.
In the past 30 years Kevin has sold over 15,000 land lots and house and land packages turning vacant land into thriving communities and has received more than 180 industry awards for his achievements.
These include the concept and development of the Smarter Small Home, the redevelopment of 650 homes for the QLD State Government as well as the successful Concept 90 Display Home Villages.
As a founding member of the L J Hooker Captains Club, Kevin pursued his passion for knowledge and achieving excellence by introducing the L J Hooker Elite Captains Group called The Hero’s Journey. He will often be found as a key speaker at major industry and property events around Australia including the UDIA Conference where he passionately defends the right for all to realise the Great Australian Dream of home ownership by tackling housing affordability.
Kevin says: “Since there has been no significant change in the housing industry since the 70’s we have to find a solution that suits our lifestyle and expectations, you don’t need to sacrifice liveability and sustainability to achieve affordability.”
In July 2011 in conjunction with Archicentre and L J Hooker, Kevin worked on the Grantham Flood Competition where Architects designed homes that would enable changes to be made to housing regulations in flood affected areas.
Kevin’s latest venture is as the Founder of The Future Housing Taskforce which aims to provide alternative forms of housing to allow every Person, Couple and Family to enjoy the comforts of home ownership without the burdening constraints of massive home loan repayments.
